Tuesday, 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm
Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
An OPEN AA meeting, loosely structured, focused on the only requirement for membership being a desire to stop drinking, and maintaining/helping others to reach sobriety. Begins with brief reading, announcements and the Serenity Prayer, followed by an outdoor walking discussion on alcoholism, recovery, and solutions. Supportive cross-talk allowed; no formal commitments. Dress for weather and bring water; children and dogs welcome if not disruptive. The first and last 15 minutes are for optional fellowshipping. Walk begins at 7:05pm in the Glen near the giant rock fireplace or in the parking lot located on the west end.
ALL are welcome to join.
